Of course she had to send a little Halloween package just for Kk as well this is like the fourth box of cereal lol! Thanks to Mom my Walmart bill was 145.42 before coupons and after you ask? Just a mere 107.00!!! That's an amazing savings but you know what? Next time I am going to do even better! I mean almost a 40.00 spot! What a deal! The rest of my last weeks freebies included, a free issue of Travel magazine, a free box of tissues (kleen-ex), A free pack of dessert favorites gum (I choose choco mint yum!), and a free pocket knife!

Halloween 2010

Wow what a blast that was a crazy weekend! We had a crazy office party Friday which we made yummy mini cupcakes for and KK won first place for scariest costume! Go Kk! That would be a 75.00 GC wowsers! I made this costume from a basic wedding dress (walmart 14.99 Halloween costumes)to mimic that of the corpse bride. I even made the head piece it was so cool! Well we also went to a party on Saturday night in Bee Cave which is right in Austin just a subdivision were we met Tim Plamer (music mixer) and family. Pretty cool guy! K had a blast with her Aunt Sophia as they were both dressed as the corpse bride and went on a hay ride and gathered candy! Afterward there was some dance music and some super cool bubbles filled with smog. Needless to say getting Kk to go home was a venture! Sunday we stayed local and brought down Halloween in our usual family style as we footed it doggie in tow (and in costume,sorry Dahlia).

Well I'm a real first class girl! Yes I am and I just got my first tubby today! And I Loved it! I love long walks and being pampered! Who wouldn't love a girl like me! And I love attention and Love to give many, many kisses! Well heck Im just full of LOVE!

Marie Callendars review.....

So I was kind of bummed when read the small print in my by one entree get one half off coupon that it wasn't valid on kids eat free nights! That's what life is about reading the small print isn't it? So yeah no loop hole there but you can buy one entree and split it and get a kids free! But we did get two entrees, one was and individual shepherds pie the other an individual chicken pot pie. They were only 8.99 and came with a little Cesar salad and pie for dessert! And yes they have NSA pie. (apple,or razzleberry) Only two flavors though out of there thirty flavors.... man couldn't they of had just one more flavor?
The chicken pie was like to die for! A super flaky crust with chunks of chicken a few bite size veggies and a super silky creamy gravy that i am sure the added ingredients were like 1/2 tablespoon of heart attack so yeah it was a cheat! It could have used more veggies believe it or not I do like them, or maybe I was pushing for it to be healthier lol. Now that Shepard's pie was good however being a New England gal it was out of the norm for me. Now Moms Shepard's pie was like ground hamburg layered with corn and mashed potatoes. Marie's Shepard's pie was chunks of tender beef with carrots, zucchini, mushrooms and mashed potatoes with cheese all in a burgundy wine sauce. Definitely for an aged palate wouldn't suggest for the kiddos! The kids portion was huge and yummy! Our daughter ordered a gobble gobble dinner and it came with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, broccoli, carrots and fresh cranberry sauce that came with a generous portion. (kids eat free on Tuesday, and Saturday) All came with dessert but we were stuffed and took it home! Over all great food, great portions and selections and great price! However drinks were a bit stiff at 2.39 each and the kids did not come with one, but hey we got pie! P.S.if you sign up for there email list you get freebies for your wedding anniversary and for everone in the famiys birthday!
